Major Parts Of The Problem

Are you a have?  Or are you a have-not?

In a war against the rich, I’m calling out the names of the haves.  If your name is on this list, you should begin to prepare for a lifestyle change.  Many people on this list give to charities and are probably very nice people.  But their tendency towards hoarding (a form of greed which creates scarcity) has allowed them to accumulate massive amounts of wealth.

Consider that I make approximately 9,600 dollars a year making music.  It would take me 104,166 and one half years to save up 1 billion dollars:  enough money to qualify for the the very bottom of the Forbes 400 list.

I give you a list of primarily white, straight, males.

Whew.  Are you still with me?

If we add up these billionare’s savings we come to the quaint number of:

1 Trillion, 116 Billion, 950 Million Dollars.

Or: 1,116,950,000,000.

Consider that the current population of America is: 308,745,538.

1,116,950,000,000 divided by 308,745,538 equals: 3,617.70.

So, if these top 200 American citizens suddenly had a change of heart and decided to give it all back, then you would receive 3,617 dollars and 70 cents cash money.  Nice!

Consider also that our country’s current debt is 14.03 trillion dollars.

Consider also that this number grows by some 42 billion dollars per day in interest rates and finance charges.

Our global obsession with money is COMPLETELY out of control.  We must reexamine our true values.
